Georgia A. Hancock

	Georgia A. Hancock, 87, of Elkville, passed away at 4:48 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2000 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
	Georgia was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
	She was born June 8, 1912 at Cave-In-Rock, IL, the daughter of George and Nancy (Hill) Ricketts.
	She married Phinas A. Hancock on August 3, 1949 in Mississippi and he preceded her in death on August 8, 1993.
	She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Helen) Valerius of Elkville and Margie Burton of Norris City, IL; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Charles Crabb; one daughter and two brothers, Ramon and Charles.
	Funeral services were Thursday, February 17 at 2 p.m. at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Rev. Tommy Monroe officiating.
	Friends were able to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.  
	Interment was in Elkville Cemetery.
	Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Hospice.
